In this video, we want to show you how you can make real money by selling your unwanted skins on the OPSkins Marketplace. There are two main ways to sell items on OPSkins.
The first is to list your items on the marketplace and wait for a buyer to purchase it, and the second is to instantly sell the item to OPSkins. We will walk you through both options.
After you successfully created an account on OPSkins.com and logged in, click “sell” on the top navigation bar.
OPSkins automatically displays the skins in your inventory that you can sell. You can choose to display items from your Steam inventory or your OPSkins inventory. Then select the game that you want to sell your skins from.
Click on the items that you want to sell. Then you can set a price. OPSkins gives you some useful information like the current lowest price, the average price of the last week, and also the Steam Analyst suggested price.
You can click “search” to see other listings of the same item. Enter a List Price to set the price you want to sell your item for. It will also display the amount of the OPSkins commission and the amount you will receive from the sale after the commission has been subtracted. You can also use Auto-Price which sets the price at a certain percentage higher or lower than either the OPSkins 7 day average price or the Steam Analyst suggested price, depending on which Price Suggestion Format you selected on your account page.
Click “next”. You can add more items to your sale queue or list them for sale. Click “Deposit Items” or “List items for sale”
Now, head over to your Steam client or the Steam website to accept your trade offer. You’ll notice a green highlighted “1 - Icon”.
To ensure a secure trade, check your security token and click the bot’s name to open its profile. From there, make sure that the bot is in the “OPSkins Bots” Steam group. The official OPSkins Bots Steam group is named exactly “OPSkins Bots” and has an abbreviation of “op-bots”
There is a link to this bot group here: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/opskins-bots and also a link to a blog post that details other security tips: https://blog.opskins.com/beware-scam-sites-impersonating-opskins/
Afterwards, accept the trade through steam. Now there’s nothing else you need to do, except wait for a buyer to purchase your item.
There are also features you can add onto your sale listings to enhance the marketability of your items. We will detail those in another video.
You want to lower or raise the price of your item? No problem. Click on your Name in the top right corner. Then click “manage sales”. Every item that you have listed for sale appears right here. Click on the “manage” button on the right side. You’ll notice a few options. To change the price of your item, simply change the “Sale Price” and click “Update My Item”
If you want to get your item back, no problem, just click “Cancel and Return My Item”. An OPSkins bot will instantly send you a trade offer for the exact same item.
Don’t have to time wait? OPSkins will instantly purchase your items from you. Head back to the “sell” page. You’ll notice a blue button that says “Instant sell”. Click that one.
Now you’ll see every item in your inventory that is suitable for this feature. Some items and games are not available for Instant Sell. OPSkins now gives you two options. You can choose to sell your items for either Operation Points or cashout-able Wallet Funds.
Operation Points are store credits that can only be used to buy other items on OPSkins.com and cannot be cashed out. OPSkins Wallet Funds can be cashed out.
